Orchard Cottage and the Shepherds Huts are Howard Court’s on-site accommodation.
Nightingale and Kingfisher cabins are identical, mirror images of one another and share a Facilities Suite, just a few paces away from each cabin.
Each cabin sleeps two in a double wall to wall bed. A wood burner heats the cabins on colder days and nights or for guests just to experience that glamping feeling. Sit in one of the two comfy armchairs in front of the wood burner to enjoy a cosy night in or open the door and enjoy the views over open fields.
A firepit, wooden picnic table and chairs lend themselves to BBQs and al fresco dining and two outdoor armchairs are strategically placed for enjoying the countryside and wildlife in comfort whilst sipping a G and T.
Orchard Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion with exposed beams, which looks out over The Courtyard. It has two bedrooms – one double and one twin (sleeping four in total), a shower room, a large sitting room and a well equipped kitchen. The central heating and insulation keep it warm and cosy in colder weather and guests can enjoy outdoor seating looking towards the beautiful North York Moors and hills on warmer days.
Couples can use Orchard Cottage as they please: as the bridal suite, for the bride (or groom!) and their party to get ready; to spend their first night as a married couple; or as accommodation for guests. We are more than happy for couples of charge their guests to stay in Orchard Cottage and we don’t ask for a penny – a great way to keep the costs down.
Guests can camp in the field, in tents or campervans (up to 5 tents and 2 campervans per event). Caravans are not allowed on site.
Immediately next door to our wedding venue is Angrove Country Park, which has lodges for hire. In the village of Great Ayton and the town of Stokesley there are numerous AirBnB rentals for a variety of budgets. On the High Street in the village, the Royal Oak Hotel and pub offers comfortable accommodation and in the centre of Stokesley, there is the Leven Hotel.
