Howard Court is owned and run by mother and daughter team Caroline and Jules, who love to create unique and individualised weddings that guests will remember for years to come!
The venue has been the family home for many years and has been the backdrop for numerous family parties and weddings. So, in 2020 we decided to convert Howard Court into a wedding venue, welcoming in couples to hold their own celebrations here. The 150 year old barns have been lovingly restored, with many of the original features preserved, such as exposed red brick walls, original A-frame beams and the wall to wall wooden hay manger – the perfect backdrop for your wedding vows.
Whether you’re looking for a summer festival wedding in a tipi, a winter celebration in the barns surrounded by fairy lights, or just something a little bit different, rest assured that the team will be on hand to help you create the wedding of your dreams.
We pride ourselves on offering a ‘blank canvas’ approach. The venue is entirely yours to decorate/customise as you see fit (within reason!). Our couples love that they can move away from the ‘conveyor belt’ of weddings here, and put their own stamp on everything, resulting in a truly unique day tailored to their personalities and passions. Whilst easily accessible, the hustle and bustle melts away when you reach us. Once here, the countryside embraces you, offering an authentically rural experience.
We have a list of recommended suppliers who we regularly work with, but we will leave it to you who you book. We will be on hand in the run-up to the wedding as well as on the day itself to liaise with suppliers so that everything is just how you want it and you can enjoy your special day without a worry.
Howard court can hold up to 100 guests for the marriage ceremony and wedding reception, and up to 150 guests for the evening celebration.
