Welcome to our quaint and charming family home, where rustic meets elegance. Developed to the highest of standards, every element of our venue captivates with its timeless beauty and impeccable attention to detail.
Exposed oak beams, red brick and contrasting white walls, twinkling fairy lights and glimmering chandeliers, and floor to ceiling arched windows bathing the barn in light – The Old Dairy is the most magical place for you to say I Do.
Established in 2023, Howard Court’s newest barn conversion is the talk of the town. Seating up to 100 people, The Old Dairy is guaranteed to make your guests go ‘wow!’.
Keep things simple and let the twinkling lights speak for themselves. Or let your artistic flair come to life by opting for foliage cascading from the beams and a breath-taking floral arch to create the perfect backdrop for your vows.
Picture it… your future spouse waiting for you at the bottom of the aisle, guests wiping happy tears, sunlight streaming through those gorgeous windows…
The Old Dairy
The Stable Barn
With its authentic wooden beams and exposed brickwork covered in twinkling fairy lights, The Stable Barn is the perfect place for your wedding ‘breakfast’ – whether that’s a formal sit-down meal, sharing platters, a BBQ or street food - anything goes and our caterer will ensure this is just right for you.
You can also opt to have your ceremony here, with either the hay manger or the curtain of fairy lights as the backdrop to your ceremony. The perfect place for more intimate weddings.
You wouldn’t believe this used to be home to several chickens! This space has now been transformed into a beautiful Mediterranean-style courtyard where guests can spill out to after the wedding ceremony, to sip bubbly and enjoy canapés in the Yorkshire sunshine.
In The Courtyard, guests can make use of the comfy outdoor seating whilst being entertained by a magician or listening to a singer. The Courtyard can still be used in the colder months, thanks to the canopy and its cosy heaters.
We are also licensed to hold outdoor ceremonies so in the warmer months, you can opt to say your ‘I dos’ in The Courtyard.

Onto the Party
We will effortlessly transform either The Old Dairy or the Stable Barn into a magical space for your evening celebrations, ensuring everything is just right for the cutting of the cake, that all-important first dance, and then partying hard until midnight. And feel free to invite more people down at this point – we can hold up to 150 people for the evening do.
The Grounds
Space is something we certainly have lots of here at Howard Court. Whether you want to be in the thick of it with your guests, or have a moment of togetherness with your new spouse, the opportunities are endless.
Step out of The Stable Barn onto a gravelled terrace and soak up the Yorkshire sunshine. Sit under our pergola to rest those dancing toes and enjoy watching the sun set over the river.
Further down the garden, you will find flower beds full of seasonal colour creating a beautiful backdrop for your group photographs.
Next to this is our ‘secret garden’, hidden away behind an evergreen hedge. This garden is less cultivated and more ‘wild’, making the perfect place for romantic newlywed photos, especially in spring when the fruit trees are in blossom.
The Riverside Cabin
From the barns, couples and guests can follow the winding lantern path down to the river, where they will find our Riverside Cabin.
Formerly a fishing hut, The Riverside Cabin has been given a facelift and is now a wonderful addition to Howard Court where guests can sit and listen to the babble of the river, gather around a firepit, or watch fireworks from the veranda. Entwined with fairy lights, The Riverside Cabin is also the perfect spot for those must-have sparkler photos!
Howard Court is surrounded by beautiful, open fields, with views of the Cleveland Hills and Roseberry Topping. In every season, couples are drawn to using these for their wedding photos to capture the magic of their special day.
This is no dress rehersal
This is where the magic happens! Orchard Cottage is the perfect space for you and your bride tribe or groom squad to get ready for your impending nuptials. Where are brides and grooms are transformed from natural beauties to catwalk ready (or make that aisle ready…).
This charming cottage is just a few steps away from the barns, and is yours to use all morning to get pampered and prepped – so get on your personalised loungewear, invite your MUA and hairdresser down, pop open the fizz, and let’s get this show on the road!
