Wedding Ceremonies
Howard Court is fully licensed with North Yorkshire County Council to hold civil wedding ceremonies on site. If you wish to get married here, please note it is your responsibility to book your registrar.
Getting married at Howard Court
Most couples choose to get married in The Old Dairy or the Stable Barn. Both areas comfortably hold 100 people for the wedding ceremony.
The Courtyard and The Riverside Cabin are also licensed, so if the weather is on your side you can opt for an outdoor ceremony. And we have woodland weddings coming soon so keep your eyes peeled!
We recommend that you book a registrar as soon as you have reserved Howard Court, so that your dates align.
In order to book a registrar, simply email ceremonies@northyorks.gov.uk to let them know:
The date of your wedding and preferred time
That you are having your ceremony at Howard Court
A contact telephone number
They will then get back to you to arrange all the details.
